The Bargain Basket held a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting on Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at its new store located at 110 West McGregor Street in Pageland. The Bargain Basket is open Monday-Saturday from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. The events of the day included a drawing, refreshments, and discounts on merchandise for customers. The Pageland Bargain Basket is located in downtown, and the Board of Disabilities has worked hard on renovations to the building including new woodwork, fresh paint, and a new awning. The Board of Disabilities and Special Needs also operates Special Petals Greenhouses in Pageland and a Bargain Basket store in Cheraw. The Pageland Chamber of Commerce congratulates the CCBDSN on its new store and wishes them much success in Pageland.
